Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Chief Architect) to join our intel team. 

C andidates should have the following qualifications: 

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

• Twenty (20) years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Systems Engineering (or related field) or 25 years without the degree.

  Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Designing and implementing complex software systems, preferably within the Intelligence Community or in a government contracting environment.

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technical projects, demonstrating an ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

• Extensive knowledge of and experience with cloud computing technologies, microservices architecture, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• A strong foundation in software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

• Experience with generating technical documentation

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment and/or experience using Jira/Confluence are highly desirable

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, information assurance standards, and risk management frameworks relevant to national security and intelligence domains.

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment using Jira and Confluence
