My client is a rapidly expanding company specializing in climate control solutions, with multiple divisions contributing to our success. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, they strive to provide top-tier services in their industry. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Controller to join their team. This role will serve as a key support to the Divisional Controllers, aiding in the oversight of financial operations within their respective divisions.

Position Overview:

As the Assistant Controller, you will work closely with the Divisional Controllers to assist in the financial management of our company's divisions. You will play a vital role in financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes, helping to ensure the division's financial health and alignment with company objectives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a senior accountant or experienced financial professional to take on increased responsibilities and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly/quarterly financial statements, variance analysis, and performance metrics.

• Support the development and execution of financial strategies in collaboration with divisional leadership.

• Help manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including gathering data, analyzing trends, and preparing financial models.

• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, enhance controls, and drive efficiency improvements.

• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

• Assist in the implementation of ERP systems and financial software upgrades, as needed.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the finance team, fostering their professional development and growth.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong background in financial reporting and analysis.

• Previous experience in a senior accountant or similar role preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
