Description:

The OCV Capital Delivery Group is accountable for the overall delivery of the OCV capital plan on an annual basis. Capital Delivery execution consist of all aspects of completing capital projects from the Fitness For Use of a project to the strategy of implementation, the detailed design, implementation of all buildings / equipment, and the successful start up of this equipment to the handover to the production personnel. This effort includes the process and equipment design/definition, and incremental or step change process development for all production lines in the OCV manufacturing arena on a worldwide basis. Global operations support, best practice gathering and proliferation are also included in this effort. Fundamental skill set for this position includes: • Development of specifications for procurement and design of Electrical power systems. • Development of cost estimates for engineering and capital delivery. • Supervision of electrical designers, and electrical design firms in the development of designs for process equipment: Hardware selection, drawings, layouts, and interface diagrams. • Configuration of electrical power systems and an understanding of electrical control systems related to drive systems, understanding of approaches (torque, velocity, position control) • Works with Mechanical counterparts on the total power / electrical from high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltages systems. • Experience in equipment checkout, debugging, commissioning, and start up activities of mechanical process equipment. • Broad range of experience in industrial electrical hardware (MCC’s, breakers, switches, capacitors, process equipment requirements, pneumatics, etc.) • Basic understanding of electrical engineering schemes for effective interface with electrical engineering colleagues in design of process equipment.
