Michigan State University(MSU) Research Associate-Fixed Term in East Lansing, Michigan
Position Summary
The Department of Horticulture is accepting applications for a research associate (postdoctoral fellow) to perform research with the goal of understanding blueberry resilience to abiotic stresses and establishing precision irrigation practices in blueberry production systems. The research is currently funded by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) and MSU Project GREEEN. The work will be conducted under the supervision of the Michigan State University lead researcher (Dr. Josh Vander Weide), and in collaboration with other MSU based researchers (Dr. Younsuk Dong).

Required Degree
Doctorate -Horticulture, Plant Science, or related
Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in horticulture, plant science, or a related discipline.
Desired Qualifications
The candidate will demonstrate: evidence of strong research knowledge, skills and attitudes; an interest in the subject matter, and a familiarity and success with the academic publication environment.
