Armstrong World Industries, Inc. (AWI) has a job opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to be located in Hilliard, OH. The Maintenance Coordinator will provide support to plant personnel in the maintenance department and ownership of the Hilliard plant storeroom. Support is a combination of SAP, Maintenance Storeroom, Administrative and Maintenance Systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Coordinator:
Coordinating service requests to standard outside contractors in support of plant maintenance systems
Confirming receipt of purchase orders with vendors
Managing Hilliard Plant Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) process
Representing Hilliard Plant in Stores network call
Managing storeroom inventory
Executing ZM87 report to identify storeroom improvement opportunities
Work Order Process
Required Qualifications for the Maintenance Coordinator:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
Forklift experience and the ability to acquire a forklift certification through AWI
Desired Qualifications for the Maintenance Coordinator:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
SAP, databases or other CMMS experience

About the Location (Hilliard, OH)
Our Hilliard Plant, one of six Armstrong ceiling plants in North America, employs approximately 135 associates across multiple shifts who are involved in the manufacturing and shipping of acoustical ceiling tile. The Hilliard plant prides itself in placing high priority on safety, quality and exceeding customer expectations.
