Job Functions / Responsibilities Focused on vehicle systems and requirements needed within the vehicle controls and systems to facilitate production Complete all necessary Manufacturing Documents supporting approved project schedule Develop and maintain new product manufacturing budgets Track and report critical metrics (readiness, defects, documentation, communication) Coordinate plant input for Manufacturing Engineering Requirements to Design Engineering Develop Manufacturing and Operations functional requirements documents and validation plans for software and hardware testing and programming Develop, assess, and implement processes to test and validate new truck systems technologies prior to production implementation Assist in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and lead efforts in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), where appropriate Review and develop new technologies for manufacturing, assembling, programming, and testing components and systems Supervises the acquisition and implementation of project-related capital tooling assets Document issues and escalate critical concerns Review drawings for manufacturing using the Windchill environment Design, validate, and implement logistics solutions for new products Domestic and International Travel will be required Qualifications & Skills 5-7 years of manufacturing experience B.S.in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Software Engineering or a related field EIT certification, PE, or Advanced Degree preferred Demonstrated ability gained through 3-5years of progressively complex engineering assignments Experience managing medium to large scale projects Training in DFSS is desirable Training in Advanced Quality Systems is desirable Knowledge of software development V-cycle and/or Agile Scrum Methodologies is desirable Understanding of J1939 communications protocol and heavy vehicle electrical architecture Experience developing automated test routines for electrical systems is desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Excellent organizational, PC, and project management skills Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities As a U.S. PACCAR employee, you have a full range of benefit options including: 401k with up to a 5% company match Fully funded pension plan that provides mon
