Gossner Foods is a growing family business with three locations across the western United States. With a combined 120 years of cheese making experience, state of the art equipment, and a team of dedicated employees; Gossner Foods is a leader in the dairy industry. What began as a strictly Swiss cheese plant, has expanded until now over 30 varieties of cheeses, and also UHT (Ultra High Temperature) shelf stable milk in a variety of flavors.

Primary responsibilities:

• Performance of microbiological and chemical testing of finish products, raw materials and associated items as required.
• Obtain and maintain State certification for antibiotic testing within company guidelines.
• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
• Follow Good manufacturing practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Computer experience (preferred)
• Laboratory experience (preferred
• Ability to lift repetitively 30 lbs.
• Good writing skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, hard-working and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2+ years experience in Quality Assurance environment.

Schedule:

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday rotating Weekends
• 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

Pay

• Training pay starts at $17.30/Hour with a potential to reach $19.30/Hour after meeting all skill levels.
