PARK NATIONAL BANK Consumer Loan Collateral Specialist in Newark, Ohio

Description RESPONSIBILITIES Complete tasks associated with the Paid Off report, including preparation of paid statements and documents to be sent to customers. Release liens as needed and process Transaction Management System and associated block entries Apply State of Ohio and other US states' vehicle laws, lien placement and title assignments in order to perfect the Bank's security interest Complete out of state title transfer requests Process electronic titles using the online electronic system Review loan documentation and follow-up with lenders as needed to ensure required information is collected to complete timely lien placement File and terminate UCC statements using the Secretary of State site when applicable Complete compliance on secured installment collateral to verify accurate lien information Identify, track and clear exceptions, notifying divisions as applicable Quote installment loan payoffs and process payoff transactions Analyze and complete weekly collateral reports and special requests for lien terminations and continuations Perform complex research requests for lien terminations Make recommendations to management to improve efficiency, workflow and enhanced customer service Individually and if applicable, as a manager, participate in identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling and mitigating departmental and enterprise-wide risks Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards Other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES Customer Service Skills Ability to understand and follow directions Detail Oriented Written and Verbal Communication Organizational Skills Analytical Thinking Able to Multi-Task or Juggle Priorities Problem/Situation Analysis Ability to work as part of a team EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of Premier Navigator, including inquiry and maintenance capabilities, minimum 1 year experience Proficient experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as web-based computer programs preferred Notary preferred SCHEDULE Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is hourly and full time. A minimum 37.5 hours is required to maintain eligibility for full-time status. Generally the position will require 40 hours per week. Periodic overtime and/or Saturdays may be required during high volume months. This position is 100% onsite. Park National Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
