Resource Engineering & Hospitality (REH) is the name adopted to reflect the Providence employees who work throughout Providence Health and Services in supply chain services and systems in support of our ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to Texas. REH's objective is to ensure our core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, is enhanced along with the overall patient care experience (know me, care for me, ease my way) by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

Providence is calling a Linen Representative who will:

  • Sort, fold, and fill clean linen carts according to established procedures

Please note the following important details regarding this role:

  • This position is an onsite role and will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled

  • This role is an on call / per diem position with a variable shift

  • Work Schedule includes both: Weekends and Weekdays

Providence welcomes residents to apply that live within a commutable distance (15-20 miles) of our hospital location listed below:

  • California: Santa Monica

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, improving organization performance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards

  • Puts linen stacks in carts for distribution

  • Counts and stacks linens for distribution or places them in supply storage. Reports linen supply shortages to supervisor

  • Keeps linen room neat and orderly; cleans delivery equipment, and assists with other cleaning duties in the department

  • Keeps records of linen distribution by department

  • Attends meetings as required

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalency

  • 6+ months of experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
