Our organization is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pipette Calibration Technician to join our dedicated calibration team. The successful candidate will be work closely with peers to carry-out calibration, maintenance and repair for pipette and bottle-top dispenser.

The ideal candidate is experienced in technical support, with strong dedication to quality and passionate in delivering the highest level of customer service to keep our customers instrument operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out calibration, maintenance and repair for pipettes and dispensers.

  • Ensure service order are processed efficiently and completed in timely manner, handling customer expectations with efficient response time.

  • Follow up with customers on the work progress of maintenance and calibration.

  • Handle service process from allocation to completion, including instruments inspection, ordering of spare part, managing service activities and reports via service software to enable accurate invoicing.

  • Proactive in seeking new opportunities and continuous improvement, optimizing customer experience, and improving efficiency.

  • Develop positive partnership with customers, service operation and product specialists to achieve organization revenue target.

  • Perform work in accordance to laboratory operational procedures, NATA accreditation requirements and company business ethics, such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO8655, ISO9001.

  • Adhere to OHS policies and procedures to ensure working in a safe and healthy workplace environment

Keys To Success:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering degree

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in pipette calibration and proficient in technical support

  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple responsibilities and assignments.

  • Laboratory experience

Skills & Attributes

  • Proficient computer skill, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel. Confident working with software and applications.

  • Effective communication, in written and verbally with customers and co-workers.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skill, with trouble-shooting strategies to resolve technical issues.

  • Proven tracked record to quickly learn large amount of new and sophisticated technical knowledge

  • An initiative taker who can work autonomously, with a can-do, positive, and professional demeanor.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to follow work instructions and procedures.

  • Supportive teammate with passion to success.
